It was sad to learn of the death of our social member Marion Eyre at Easter. Marion was one of the early members of the Levin West Women’s Bowling Club, leading the way as President in 1990 and 1991, and as Treasurer for a number of years. Club members will be saddened to learn of the death of Frank Rodgers on 24 January. Frank joined our club when he came from Christchurch a few years ago. Yesterday our Life Member Neville Winiata passed away after a long period of ill health. Neville was our club President in 1988 and 1989 and was a long time member of the Executive and served as our Greens Superintendent for a number of years.
