The Levin Bowling Club in conjunction with the Arohanui Hospice invites you to consider this unique opportunity to be part of the continued support of the day clinic within the Horowhenua Community. At Levin Bowls it was felt there was a need to have a greater
involvement within the Horowhenua region and realized there was no better charity to support than the Arohanui Hospice. The bowls tournament will be held on Saturday 24th February 2018.
The support we receive goes directly towards ensuring the Hospice can continue to provide high quality end-of-life care for the patients and their families in the Horowhenua region. By supporting this wonderful fundraising tournament, you are helping the Hospice to maintain the new Horowhenua Centre which is situated on the corner of Oxford and Stuckey Streets.
The Horowhenua Centre operates five days a week in Levin, providing local specialist palliative care clinics, education sessions, counselling and bereavement services and a weekly creative and social programme for the patients and their families. Almost one third of the Arohanui Hospice patients live in the Horowhenua region, so it is important that there is a regular presence in Levin to provide local services and support which reduces the need for the patients and support people to travel to Palmerston North. The Arohanui Hospice is very grateful for your support and strongly encourages you to get behind the Levin Bowls Club to make this year’s event another big success!
Besides the sponsored monies we need donations of product to use for the tournament prizes, raffles and auction items/lots.
